Life in Recovery is about living Happy, Joyous, and Free. I wouldn't trade this life for the world...

Make Your Stand Against Crack Today!

The Crack problem in this country is totally out of control! Every time I watch an episode of "Cops", I see someone getting busted for Crack. I read about children on crack, dealing crack, and dying from crack. I see factual movies and documentaries on pregnant women addicted to crack. These women give birth to crack addicts. What they don't realize is these kids have NO chance in the world. They don't even have the choice of whether or not they want to take the drug. It is already in their system. Crack will lead MOST anyone and everyone down a path to total destruction. There are no if's, and's, or but's. If you do not get off of crack you will die and bring everyone down that surrounds you.

I will say that this is one addiction I have no personal experience with, but addiction is addiction. I understand that this is a very very powerful addiction and the minute you ingest the drug you are addicted. It is for this reason that I have avoided both Cocaine and Crack! I need all the help I can get to stay off of the drugs. I do like facing life now instead of escaping my life away.

How can you tell a crack addict? Look for the following:

Symptoms:
Erratic mood swings, hoarseness and parched lips, tongue and throat

Hazards:
Rapid addiction, rapid weight loss, irregular heartbeat, respiratory problems, brain seizures, violent or suicidal behavior

I encourage you to join my online support group. Please Find the Light.

Do yourself and your loved ones a favor and get yourself into recovery. Life is much better when the burden of addiction is lifted. It isn't easy to quit, it will probably be the hardest thing you ever do but I have faith in you. THE FIRST STEP IN GETTING HELP IS ADMITTING YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH ADDICTION. Keep in touch and let me know how you are doing. Recovery is a life-long process, as your illness will never go away. You have to stay one or two steps ahead of it to enjoy the life of living sober. It is important to me that you find the light as I have.
